Dear e-Chapter members,
Please nominate a pediatric or pediatric-focused nurse practitioner for the 2020 NAPNAP e-Chapter PNP/Pediatric Focused NP of the Year Award. The description of this high honor is described below and in the attached printable document. Self nominations are also welcome and encouraged. Please do not hesitate. The deadline is Sunday, February 16, at midnight.

NAPNAP e-Chapter PNP/Pediatric Focused NP of the Year Award
Presented by the e-Chapter to a member who is a pediatric nurse practitioner or pediatric-focused nurse practitioner who exceeds the expectations as a professional Advance Practice Registered Nurse providing care to children. This APRN is recognized for their admirable character, selfless dedication, and outstanding efforts in elevating our professional practice and promoting the health and welfare of children in the community. This professional perpetually raises the bar for everyone and helps establish a higher standard of quality care. Their dedication to providing exceptional care for children leaves a legacy for other APRNs who follow in their footsteps.
Qualification Criteria may include but is not limited to:
- Current NAPNAP and e-Chapter member, minimum of 1-year membership, nominated by self or another chapter member
- Activities related to community, state, or regional or national health policy or advocacy initiatives
- Presentations to local, state, national level addressing pediatric healthcare concerns
- Publications affecting pediatric healthcare delivery or other pediatric health and wellness concerns

Typed double spaced narrative description (500 words or less) describing the reasons this nominee should receive the award based on the criteria given for the award submitted to napnapechapter@gmail.com

Award winner receives: 1) Public recognition during the National NAPNAP annual meeting and 2) a complimentary 2-year membership to the e-Chapter
